What If I had to start learning AI today from scratch?

If I had to start learning AI today from scratch—
No clue what to type.
No idea which tools to trust.
No “tech bro” energy.
Here’s how I’d do it: 👇
1️⃣ I’d stop trying to learn everything.
Everyone’s shouting about “the next big AI tool.”
It’s overwhelming as hell.
I’d pick ONE tool (ChatGPT, Claude, whatever feels easy)…
and ignore everything else for a month.
2️⃣ I’d open it daily—no matter what.
Not for an hour.
Not to write a book.
Just 10-15 minutes of messing around.
Curiosity > consistency at first.
3️⃣ I’d use it for something I already struggle with.
Like writing a caption.
Or organizing my to-do list.
Or outlining that idea I’ve been avoiding.
Make AI useful for you, not impressive for others.
4️⃣ I’d save the stuff that works.
Every time I got a decent result, I’d screenshot it or drop it in a doc.
Boom. Instant prompt library.
Because yes, you’ll forget the good stuff otherwise.
5️⃣ I’d stop waiting to be “ready.”
Real talk?
Most people never get started because they think they need to know more.
You don’t.
You just need to do more.
If you’re new to AI, here’s what works:
• Pick ONE tool
• Play with it daily
• Use it to fix real problems
• Save what works
• Keep it messy and real
That’s how you learn fast, by doing, not by perfecting.
If this hit home…
I write newsletter posts that break down AI in plain English.
No fluff. No overwhelm. Just real ways to use it without losing your mind. Stay tuned.
